Account
Change the name in my account profile
- Log into your Enigma account
- In the upper right corner, click the profile menu icon and select Account
- In the Personal Info section, enter the new name in the Full Name field
- Click Update Information
Change my password
If you know your existing password, change it in the Account section of the dashboard.
- Log into your Enigma account
- In the upper right corner, click the profile menu icon and select Account
- Click Change Password
- Enter your old password and a new password that meets the security requirements
- Click Change Password

Change my email address
- Log into your Enigma account
- In the upper right corner, click the profile menu icon and select Account
- Enter the new email address in the Email Address field and click Update Information
- Check the new email address for an email with a confirmation code
- Click the link in the email and enter the code when requested
- Use the new email address to log in moving forward
Close my account
To close your account, contact support@enigma.com or use the form below.
API & Usage
See when my account has hit the API usage limit
- View your API usage in the Console dashboard in the API Usage section
- You'll also receive a code 429 error in your API call:
{"message":"Limit Exceeded"}
Upgrade my account
Free trial API access is capped at 100 monthly calls. To make more than 100 calls, add valid payment information to your account (we currently accept credit cards).
Once payment information is added, you can make unlimited calls on a pay-per-use basis. Your first 100 calls each month are always free.
Billing
Add payment information
- Log into your Enigma account
- Click Upgrade from your homepage or click Admin in the lower left corner and select Payment Details
- Enter the payment information for a valid credit card
- Click to submit the payment information and confirm the upgrade
How billing works
Users are charged on the first of each month for the total API calls made during the previous billing cycle. The first 100 calls each month are always free.
We send an itemized receipt to the email associated with your account. To view billing history, click Admin in the Console and select Invoices.

Learn more about match and verification rates
- The Enigma Verify API provides match scores and verification scores
- A match score measures the closeness of your API inputs to the company as represented in our data sets. Inputs require at least two of: person name, company name, and company address
- A verification score measures the company's authenticity as a real and active business, based on data freshness, data footprint, source quality, and business activity status

Security researchers who have discovered a potential vulnerability can also email security@enigma.com for responsible disclosure information.
